Today, high‐power diode lasers already cover a wide range of applications. Besides the continuous power improvements, the key to success is a high variability in terms of beam quality: Large‐scale heat treatments are carried out with the same reliability as applications with high requirements for brilliance. Flexible system configurations and interfaces for the industry 4.0 integration allow for an optimal adjustment to all application situations.
