To support our teams in the USA (Livonia, MI), we are looking for you as a Technical Sales Engineer*.
Your responsibilities:
- Analyze customer requirements and provide technical consulting for the development of customized laser solutions
- Support and manage customer projects from initial concept to implementation
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through regular on-site visits
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities and new customers
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
- Share market insights with internal teams (e.g. product management and sales), including competitor analysis, pricing trends, and market developments
Your profile:
- Degree or technical training in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or laser technology
- Experience in technical sales, ideally with complex or consultative products
- Strong technical understanding and passion for solving complex customer challenges
- Confident communication and negotiation skills
- Independent, structured working style combined with strong team orientation
- Resident in the USA
- Willingness to travel (up to about 70%), primarily within the USA, with occasional international trips
