To support our team in Livonia, MI, we are looking for your support as a Technical Sales Engineer*
Your tasks:
- Research of customers’ needs, technical advice and support in the development of the laser concept and support during the project phase
- Visit customers and potential customers to develop relationship, follow up on leads, close sales opportunities and provide technical information. Attendance of trade fairs, shows and conferences.
- New customer acquisition
- Provide feedback to internal teams as well as with sales peers regarding competition, pricing, and marketing opportunities
Your profile:
- Experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or laser technology
- Experience in technical sales, laser sales or with goods requiring detailed explanation are desirable
- Enjoy a challenge when technical issues arise
- Negotiation skills
- Customer satisfaction driven
- Independent, self-motivated individual with a high degree of responsibility but also team oriented
- Traveling mostly within the US and occasionally overseas. Up to 50% travel time.
